The ESCP International Politics Society (EIPS) is pleased to invite you to an upcoming conference organised by the ESCP Alumni Mer & Marine Group, featuring Patrick Pourbaix, President of MSC Cruises France.
Moderated by EIPS, the discussion will explore the transformation of the world of cruising, from French shipbuilding expertise and careers in the maritime sector to the premiumisation of the market and the sustainability challenges facing the industry. Taking place just a few days before the delivery of the new MSC World Asia, scheduled for November 25 in Saint-Nazaire, followed by its christening in Le Havre on November 28, the conference will offer an opportunity to discuss the present and future of the cruise and maritime sectors. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., and will be held in English at ESCP Business School – Champerret Campus, Jacques Cœur Amphitheater, located at 6-8 Avenue de la Porte de Champerret, 75017 Paris, France.
